Abstract:
Polycarbonate (PC) was modified by polyamide (PA)1010 with longer carbon chain and better toughness. The mechanical properties, heat resistance, solvent resistance and dynamic rheological properties of PC/PA1010 blends were studied, and the graft polyethylene (PE-g-GMA) with PA1010 and its compatibilizer effect of XqPC/PA1010 blends on properties. The results showed that the impact strength of PC/PA1010 was well maintained and the solvent resistance of PC was improved obviously, and PE-g-GMA was a reactive compatibilizer for PC/PA1010; when the ratio of PC/PA1010/PE-g-GMA was 80/15/5 (mass ratio, the same below), the blend obtained the best comprehensive properties.Key words:
